Dr Dean Picone

Dr Dean Picone leads the Cardiovascular Monitoring Group in the Faculty of Medicine and Health at The University of Sydney. Dean’s research primarily is focused on how to achieve the highest quality blood pressure measurements in different settings to support management of hypertension. He has a keen interest in emerging technologies and identifying ways to increase access to health services. He currently serves as a consultant to the World Health Organisation on blood pressure measurement methods.
