Paul Gallagher OAM

Paul Gallagher has dedicated more than 35 years to children’s healthcare in NSW, beginning his career as a paediatric nurse at Prince of Wales Children’s Hospital in 1988. Since September 2022, he has served as Clinical Manager for Paediatrics and Neonatology at South Western Sydney Local Health District. Previously, he was Nurse Manager of the Newborn and Paediatric Emergency Transport Service (NETS). Inspired by his younger sister’s lifelong journey with osteogenesis imperfecta, Paul founded the Sydney Kids Committee in 1993. The charity has raised over $1.5 million for Sydney Children’s Hospital Randwick. In 2015, he was awarded an OAM.
