Kaz is an academic cardiologist and clinical trialist. He is an internationally recognised expert in cardiac imaging, especially in myocardial strain and its clinical application in Cardio-Oncology, as well as a global leader in sonothrombolysis/ sonoperfusion.
His research areas are:
1) Therapeutic application of ultrasound (Sonothrombolysis)
2) Multimodality Imaging (Echo, CT, MRI)
3) Cardio-oncology (SUCCOUR trial)
4) Environmental Cardiology, especially air pollution/heat and CVD.
