2024 Message from Chief Executive Sonia Marshall

I am thrilled to announce our 2024 Health Beyond Research and Innovation Showcase will take place on 25 and 26
September at The William Inglis Hotel,Warwick Farm.

This year’s theme is ‘Harnessing Diversity’, recognising one of south west Sydney’s biggest strengths. Our region is home to an incredibly diverse population including different cultural backgrounds, ages and life stages, socioeconomic status disability, gender and LGBTQIA+.

This year’s Showcase will highlight how the District’s innovative and wide breadth of research addresses our communities needs.

The event will also be a networking opportunity for staff to celebrate the fantastic research and innovation that is shaping the future of health care in the south west.

Guests can meet our leaders in person, share their ideas and experiences and be inspired to lead health care research, innovation and outcomes in the south west and beyond.

I guarantee you will be impressed by the amazing work of south western Sydney’s health and research partners, centred around providing high-quality, personalised care.

The Showcase is hosted in partnership with the Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research and supported by our partners UNSW Sydney and Western Sydney University.

Stay tuned for more information, including the detailed event program, esteemed speakers, and registration details.
