Save the date for the SWSLHD and Ingham Institute for Applied Medical Research 2019 Health Beyond Research and Innovation Showcase on 5 and 6 June 2019. Almost 600 people attended the 2018 Showcase, which included stalls, international speakers, feature sessions and concurrent presentations. The 2018 Health Beyond Research & Innovation Showcase unveiled an exciting future filled with advances in innovation and technology which will benefit the people of our community and the world. The two-day event was an outstanding success and I was thrilled to see so many staff members learning more about our research and meeting fellow health professionals to form collaborations and new networks. I hope to see you all at next year’s showcase on 5 and 6 June 2019.
