Nevenka Francis has spent the last several years as the District Trauma Clinical Nurse Consultant, with extensive clinical background in emergency and intensive care. She holds a postgraduate certificate in Intensive Care and a Master’s in Public Health, and has recently transitioned into a new role as the District Injury Prevention Clinical Nurse Consultant. Nevenka is also AUSMAT-trained, and an EMERGO instructor, and the regional EMST coordinator. She is dedicated to education delivery across the district, disaster preparedness, and injury prevention. Nevenka also coordinates the P.A.R.T.Y. (Prevent Alcohol and Risk-Related Trauma in Youth) Program at Liverpool Hospital, demonstrating her commitment to reducing trauma in the community. Nevenka works closely with the Liverpool Trauma Department and local health districts, focusing on improving outcomes for trauma patients. Nevenka’s passion for trauma nursing drives her commitment to enhancing patient care and safety. She is also pursuing a PhD, with her research centered on identifying models of care for older trauma patients.
