Professor Rebekah Grace is the Foundational Director of the Centre for Transforming early Education and Child Health (TeEACH) at Western Sydney University. Her disciplinary background is in child development, and her career has centred on achieving real-world impact as an applied researcher. Professor Grace employs an interdisciplinary approach to addressing the inequities experienced by disadvantaged children and their families who have complex support needs. Her projects are embedded within multiple service environments, involve cross-disciplinary collaboration, and are built on collaborations with industry partners, community members, and other leading researchers. She is committed to the importance of high-quality research, and to the translation of that research so that it is meaningful in policy and practice contexts, and to those for whom it is intended to benefit.
