Bridget Farrell is a Registered Nurse and the Health Service Manager of the Specialist Intellectual Disability Health Team. She has over 26 years of experience in South Western Sydney, holding various clinical and leadership roles across Paediatrics, and Primary and Community Health.
Bridget holds a Master’s degree in Health Service Management with a specialisation in Integrated Care and has a strong interest in translational research, with published work in this field. She has also contributed to workforce development as a Research Mentor for NSW Health staff completing their Health Management theses through the University of Tasmania.
Bridget is a recipient of the NSW Nursing Excellence Award for her work with consumers and has a particular focus on the development effective health partnerships. She is currently seconded to Western NSW Local Health District part time , where she oversees Specialist Intellectual Disability services across WNSWLHD, Far West LHD, and Murrumbidgee LHD.
