Professor Sherrington FAHMS, FACP, PhD, MPH, BAppSc (Physio) is Professor at Sydney School of Public Health, The University of Sydney and Conjoint Professor of Allied Health at South Western Sydney Local Health District. Prof Sherrington leads the 40-person Physical Activity, Ageing and Disability Research Stream within the Institute for Musculoskeletal Health (based at the Sydney Local Health District) and is Deputy Director of the Institute. Prof Sherrington’s research interests include mobility and falls in older people and people with physical disabilities, exercise and other physical activity interventions, and evidence-based practice.
