Deepak is an Intensive Care Specialist at Campbelltown and Liverpool Hospitals, the Clinical Director for the Critical Care stream, and a Board Member at SWSLHD. His recent research interests include Virtual Care especially telehealth-enhanced clinical care, remote patient monitoring, Artificial Intelligence to enhance clinical care, and pioneering research into environmental sustainability in clinical practice in Australian ICUs. HE is currently completing a Masters in Healthcare Quality and Safety from Harvard University Medical School and is Chair of the Australia New Zealand Intensive Care Society’s Safety and Quality Committee. When not working he enjoys bushwalking and going for a long run along one of the many trails around Sydney.
